I had a good coding experience. I find coding very fun and relaxing. I is cool how you can make your own game and make it however you want. There are so many things you can add of change that you can make totally different code each time you make a game. It is also fun to play the games you have created after you are done creating them.

Social Media Contracts

STATEMENT ONE:  Students should be at least 13 years of age to use social media sites such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram.

STATEMENT TWO:  Parents should have knowledge of any social media site their children use, including access to the username and password.

STATEMENT THREE:  A social media contract is a good way for parents to set guidelines for social media use by their children.

Statement 1- I give this statement a 8 because I agree with it, but in some circumstances I disagree with it. Some kids use social media for group chat in sports or about a event that is going to happen and they would not want to miss out on the conversation. Over all though, kids should not be able to use social media accounts until you are 13 so you are more responsible, think more before you type, and don,t talk to strangers.

Statement 2- I give this statement a 10 because kids should not be posting things that they would not want their parents to see. Parents can monitor how much they have been on, if they are giving out information, or being rude to other people. They can find out if they should let their child keep their social media accounts of not.

Statement 3-I give this statement a 10 because kids should have rules they need to follow. They should know what is ok to do and what is not ok to do on social media. They should also know the consequences they will have if they do something bad or don't follow the rules.

Social Media Age Restrictions

Why Does Age Matter When Signing Up For Social Media Accounts?
Age matters because little kids should not be on sites that adults and teenagers go on. Adults talk and post about things that little kids should not see. It is dangerous for kids under the age of 13 to be exploring websites and accounts that these random people have. People lie about who they are on the internet all of the time. Kids might think that someones profile picture looks cool or about their age and start talking to this person. Little do they know it could be any random person behind the computer screen. I is always important to follow the age restrictions on social media.

Troubleshooting Tips

Non Stop Pop-up Ads
If you keep getting pop up ads never click on them. Computer programmers know how to program pop-up ads so that when you hit cancel or the "X" it does the same thing it would do if you hit yes or install. When you click on these pop-up ads they usually install software that will harm your computer and track every website you click on. To close these pop-up's you can use the key F4 or ctrl w.

Network Connection
If you keep getting messages say "no internet connection" or "WIFI not found" here are some step you can follow to try and fix these problems. One thing you should check is if there is any damage done to your computer. Make sure that the WIFI symbol or light is lit up on your computer. Also, your computer and WIFI router should be plugged in.

Slow running computer

If your computer is running slow the first thing you should do is turn it off, and then turn it back on. If it is still slow then you should run tests to check for malware and viruses.
